MP Imad Youkhana visits several important departments in Kirkuk Province.

Member of the Security and Defense Committee MP Imad Youkhana visited Kirkuk Municipality Department, the General Directorate for the Education of Kirkuk and the Commander of the Anti-Terrorism Squad. MP Imad Youkhana discussed the security status of Kirkuk province with Major General Maan al-Saadi, and demanded the Anti-Terrorism Squad to be a part of solution and neutrality when dealing with Kirkuk’s components due to sensitivity of the situation in the province. Nahla village experiencing continued encroachment on lands; Ninos Odisho presents the case as a violation of laws & regulations.

A group of people from the Kurdish villages near Nahla have made a new transgression on one of the villages of our Chaldean Syriac Assyrian people in the area. The group trespassed on the lands of Keshkawa village in the Nahla area by building a house and an aquifer, and cultivated the land that was overrun. The villagers witnessed the group while they were planting the land, despite the decision of the Penalty Commission in Erbil on 27 August 2017, which ruled in favor of our people in Nahla. Definition of the disputed areas. 2. What is the criteria in determining whether the region is disputed or not? 3. Which is the authority to determine whether the region is disputed or not?
